Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale: Parenting at the Park

Taking some time to spend with the family, Gavin Rossdale was spotted with his wife Gwen Stefani and sons Kingston and Zuma having fun at Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills yesterday (March 29).

they looked blissful as they romped around with their boys, ignoring the paparazzi all around.

And while he,s having a blast with fatherhood, Gavin recently told press that he thinks two kids is quite enough for now.
When asked if he’d like a daughter to balance out the household ratio, he said, “Well that would seem logical, but then again so would sleep! But you know, the men aren’t in control of that stuff. A bit of selfish time would be nice, but that isn’t around the corner just yet.”

Sundown in the City series begins April 9

Gavin Rossdale will perform May 14.

The 2009 series will present a diverse group of artists ranging from Gavin Rossdale, the former front man of rock band Bush, to funk-jazz group Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe to country-rock act Shooter Jennings to reggae legends the Wailers.

Sundown in the City has become one of the most anticipated events in Knoxville, regularly drawing thousands to Market Square in downtown Knoxville. The genesis of the concert series was an Oct. 9, 1998, CD release show on Market Square by local rock act the V-Roys. The show wasn’t part of a series, but it drew more than 2,000 revelers, far more than anyone had anticipated. The following year, a CD release concert with R.B. Morris drew 1,000 to Market Square.

In 2000, Sundown in the City was given its name and expanded to four concerts. And, in 2001, Sundown was awarded a grant by the city of Knoxville and expanded to a full, springtime series. With help from several corporate sponsors, the event now takes no municipal funds.

The event has provided a boon to many downtown businesses with restaurants and bars filling both before and after the concerts begin.

In addition to giving local audiences a chance to see nationally and sometimes internationally known music artists, it has traditionally given acclaimed local acts wide exposure by opening for headlining acts. On May 7, the entire show will be made up of local acts — the Royal Bangs, Same As It Ever Was and the Tenderhooks.

Parking is free at city garages at Locust Street, Market Square and State Street after 6 p.m.

Kingston Rossdale is Ready to Rock

"Like father like son"

Hey dad! Kingston James McGregor Rossdale shoots Gavin Rossdale a blue-tinged grin as he watches him perform across the stage on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
Gavin was playing the Donate Life Concert Series at L.A. LIVE and brought his toddler (plus the nanny!) along for the show. Kingston, 2 ½, will be getting used to life on the road — he heads out on tour with Gavin and mom Gwen Stefani in just a few weeks!

While Gavin Rossdale gave a free concert outside at the Nokia center this morning, his adorable son Kingston sang along on a mic at the side of the stage.
